McLain Yearbooks Plus Monroe Jr. High and Cherokee Elementary Digital Copies of Scanned Yearbooks Why? Years ago, I was chatting with an old classmate and she mentioned that her yearbooks were burned in a fire. I scanned our senior yearbook (McLain 1973) and she downloaded it. I decided to make more over time in case other classmates were missing their yearbooks. I created 17 digital yearbooks in PDF format that could be read with Adobe Acrobat or downloaded. I recently discovered a better way to display and read them called a flipbook. A flipbook loads faster, displays 2 pages at a time on a PC (1 page on a phone), and simulates turning pages. Downloading a PDF is also much easier. Navigating the flipbook: At the upper right in the flipbook are some Icons: << (first page), >> (last page), < (previous page), > (next page), download and full screen on/off. At the bottom is a bar with a slider. Drag the slider left and right to go quickly to another page. On a PC in full screen mode, most text is clear. On a phone, you can enlarge with your fingers and be able to read text. You can click (tap) on the left and right edges, or at the lower outside corners to turn a page. There will never be a charge for these. If someone offers to sell you one, come back here. Many classmates have contributed to the effort and I appreciate all the help.
